To much complicated to do vocal chops from vocal phrases, and that is what I am referring to in a whole post.įor a single slice chops, Harmor is also good and light, but I hate you can not relocate samples in case you move them, to make it work again is pain in the arse. Maybe they will integrate that function in Cubase 12, but until then, Auto Tune slice is now my favorite. Other samplers are not that good, because for vocal chops what is a must, for me at least, is to have control over every slice, for pitch and time, and that feature is what I lack, for example in Cubase 11 sampler. Vice is good, but hard to do proper chops, so you have to spend a lot of time to make it work as you wish, similar to Momentum, but simpler and better in any way. Momentum is shite, because is is overcomplicated to use, heavy on CPU, ugly GUI, but have nice effects though. Image Line Slicex is good, but controls sucks for use outside FL Studio. Easy to use, intuitive, and way more simple.īut the SLICE from this collection is good competitor to that with some extras, and that is tops. Shame, that is not available as a native plugin version, because so far nothing can beat that. The very best vocal chop SLICE plugin is in Studio One, SampleOne XT.
